One of the keys to representing the industry is
MITA's relationship with MDOT.
We view our relationship with MDOT as a dynamic, positive, and working
partnership. MITA members know that MDOT's doors are always open to us, as
we host joint meetings between the industry and the department to discuss key
issues on a regular basis. At the same time, MDOT knows that MITA speaks for
the vast majority of highway contractors in the state, and the department seeks
our input first as policies are developed that will impact contractors. |
