It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Franklin Wayne Peake, age 80, on Monday, April 10, 2017. He was born in Newberry, Michigan on March 18, 1937 and then moved to Warren, Michigan as a child.

Frank served his country in the U.S. Army for several years overseas in the intelligence area. He moved to Sterling Heights in 1966 and spent the next 30 years in the Metro Detroit area working in the asphalt paving business. In 1982, he and his wife, Pamela, opened Action Traffic Maintenance out of their home. They have built the company over the years into a thriving business that has become an industry leader. Frank remained involved in the business until his passing.

He was a passionate baseball and hockey fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and dogs. Frank was also a contributor to the local police and fire departments. He gave many hours of service to helping the community and to the Charlton Heston Academy.

Frank is survived by his wife, Pamela, of Saint Helen, MI; children Timothy, Laura Bagley, Thomas, Kelly Peake and Neil; brother Robert and sisters Joann Kiesznowski and Ilene Zalewski; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
