In an effort to spread the word about the continued and rapid deterioration of Michigan’s infrastructure, specifically bridges, MITA has commissioned hard-hitting bumper stickers to raise public awareness around the state. This is one of many tactics being used to urge the Michigan Legislature to take action now on finding a long-term permanent solution to the on-going infrastructure funding problem.
We strongly urge members to put the bumper stickers on their vehicles, their equipment and the barrels at their construction sites for motorists to read when they drive by. The goal is to keep the pressure on through grassroots efforts, and a visual campaign around the state is one of the strongest ways to keep a message at the front of everyone’s minds.
Please contact Mariam Robinson, Outreach Coordinator, at the MITA office to order your bumper stickers. She can be reached by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also call her at 517-853-5866.
